  • Lovely.

  • strong page, good work you beautiful people!

  • lot of team decor nags don't have the chrome lugs,my buckler hasn't, perhaps because they were painted again in team decor after production

  • Any idea of a price for this? Looking to sell it as I simply don't ride it any more.

Veloce groupset, wheels are Mavic rims on Veloce hubs, Dura Ace headset oddly. Horizontal (not track) dropouts obviously. No saddle.

Good condition, a few chips and rust spots that I can't get rid of using Autosol (can provide closeups).

  • 750 ish

  • Thanks. A lucky find at a bargain price. I only had to replace the bar tape and buy a new set of tyres.

  • well done!

  • Anyone know how the bottom bracket cable guide is fixed in place on an aluminium Dream 2006-ish vintage? I snapped the bolt/screw/rivet/whatever it is last night whilst wrestling with the bike on my work stand.

If it's a screw or bolt what size thread is it?

Haven't get the chance to remove the BB for a closer look yet.

    Thanks in advance!

  • bb cable guide on a dream?
should be uniform in respect to all bb cable guides, so if the insertion hole is clear , a new one should fit, you may have to drill the remnants out, or even retap the hole for screw threads
on my dream roadie it has the plastic guide, the cx has no cable routing via bb underside

  • It is a plastic guide. Was kinda hoping I could just pick up a new screw for it though!

But if they are a uniform fit it shouldn't be too hard to find one. Thanks for your input :0)

  • go in a shop and ask if you can buy the screw , or just measure it, whole units aren't cost prohibitive really

  • Restoring a 1984 Super at the moment, but haven't decided on colour scheme yet. I've seen a catalog somewhere on the internet showing the colour options for the 1984 Super, but can't find it anymore... Anyone who might know where to find it?

  • It's a dome head bolt a bit like this. It will be either M6 (6mm) or M5 (5mm). You should be able to work that out by measuring it. But to be honest I'm not sure you'll be able to buy a single bolt for much less than you can pick a cable guide up for.

  • Screwfix do cheap stainless steel hex socket screws for cheapness. Cheap.

    http://www.screwfix.com/c/screws-nails-fixings/a2-socket-screws/cat840546

    50 for £2.50 cheap.

I bought various packs of 50 for the common sizes used in bikes to replace the non-stainless-steel ones that bikes often ship with that rust and seize.

  • Thanks all!

  • Walked into a random bike shop in brooklyn. Not expecting this.

  • Not an owner, but this beauty caught my eye around town recently.

  • WOW. I'd like to visit that place !

  • If you like a bit of Colnago action, you need to book yourself a trip to this:

    http://www.colnagocyclingfestival.com/

Went last year with Mrs Jangle and the Janglettes. Beautiful part of the world, great cycling, food and wine. And, if you like this sort of thing, a bloke called Ernesto just hanging out.

  • RA Cycles?

  • That's the place. Shame the staff were so excruciatingly rude and none of the frames had prices on.

  • If you need to ask you can't afford it.

About ten years ago they had a huge stock of NOS De Rosa, Colnago and Casati frames at reasonable prices. Then old road bikes became sought after so the prices shot up. I almost pulled the trigger on a De Rosa from them, but found one in a shop in Italy for about a third of the price.

  • If you need to ask, you can't afford it? Ok bro.
