Who have United got in the UEFA cup tonight?
-

Stop trolling. They're getting their squad fit and ready for an attempt at clinching the capital one cup.

"increasingly poor results over the past two years.
We are protesting against his deceit and empty promises.
We are protesting against his mismanagement of the club and the playing staff.
We are protesting against his misrepresentation of our hopes and expectations.
We are protesting against his decision to continue on in what is now an untenable position."

I fear our defensive frailties will never be resolved under wenger and I'm actually beginning to feel time really is up for the man. Obviously that was the first defeat in about 15 games so not all lost but it's the same old problems that keep on creeping up. Hartson said on 5live how he wondered whether wenger would in training go over the match with the defenders and tell them where they went wrong. Something inside me tells me I highly doubt it. I actually want to see arsenal built from the back up. was scary yesterday how evident it was that we needed a dmf.
If you want the low down read and listen the Stuart Robson's words. Damning stuff.

It's only now I see what a nightmare sturridge & suarez were for opposition defenses with their constant movement, pulling CBs all over the place. Mario- irrespective of ring rust was never that busy. I suspect (hope) this was a large reason for Coutinho not looking very good at all with just a lone man -that kept coming deep wanting to instigate rather than be an outlet - to aim for. Then the keeper that is eroding confidence in the CBs ahead of him.
In fantasyland our new full backs may hit the heights that Baines and Coleman do. Anyone remember how we started last season? No? That's cos it took time then and will now.

Gutted for Chris Cohen, three cruciate injuries in three years.

That is really sad for the guy. Especially as Forest are going great guns

Why did no one tell me that it was national cupcake week?
I rely on the footy thread to keep me informed.
I've been eating granola bars all week when I should have been eating overpriced fairy cakes.

I like to put chocolate at the bottom of the bowl with butterscotch on top, crumble up a flake and sprinkle on some hundreds and thousands.

Cautiously optimistic about tomorrow again. I know the bubble has to burst soon, but this seems like a pretty good time to be playing Arsenal. Their defence is pretty shit - no clean sheets this season - and don't like playing against speedy attacking on the break.
If we can keep another clean sheet and nick one - oh my, heady days. Would take a draw though.

I think you might be right! Can't say I'm too optimistic. Luckily I'll be at a wedding so won't have to watch...

Why did no one tell me that it was national cupcake week?
Someone just came into my office to hand in a job application with a box of cupcakes.
Got to admire them for being topical, but the CV went in the bin.
