You mean that the British public put up a fight against central government to stand for what they believe in? Don't think that has happened since the miners strikes. Thatcher has knocked the stuffing out of most citizens and the Tories are quite happy for government to do anything providing they can continue to live in the Home Counties in complete fucking ignorance without getting hit in the pocket. Solidarity is a thing of the past and Scotland have missed a big opportunity to rekindle that sort of movement. Perhaps it was too much too soon. Somehow I think a lot of people will regret this for a long time to come.
