You might be failing to comprehend the small-c conservatism that defines Britishness.
If it is at all possible that things go back to normal, it will. The only possible chance that things do not go back to normal is a renewed and reinvigorated movement that puts relentless pressure on the current and future government to make changes that prevent it going back to normal.

Our politics are rotten and we need change. In my opinion, Scottish independence was the wrong solution, but things can't go back to normal. Would be great if the intellectual energy and engagement in Scotland catches on across the UK.
