  • Why not just order the same frame directly from Aliexpress. More options. Most track frames with that style geo for dirt cheap prices are from there anyway. Even many top brands do the same thing. So...

    things to look for...

    1. Smooth welds - usually look nice but are a little weaker than ugly welds
    2. Alu frames - weight varies significantly from company to company
    3. Track ends and chain tensioners nice to have already built in on your frame set
    4. Geometry - look for bottom bracket height and fork width at headset
    5. Seat Tube type - try to stay away from Leader style "split and crack" seat post points
    6. Paint - whatever colour you choose realise that cheap-o frame sets develop paint chips quickly. Its quite common on Alu frame sets anyway. This should however be merely cosmetic. So maybe find a colour that is a little less obvious or be willing to repaint, or like most sticker bomb your bike to protect it from chipping.
    7. Don't expect the frame set to be as long term as a Steel frame set. I wouldn't expect it to be "safe" after a number of years especially bombing hills brakeless, DAWS or doing tricks.
    8. The more you look after how its treated the longer it will likely last.

Hope that helps before you buy a cheap chinese frame set either from Aliexpress directly or from a hipster LBS with a brand name sticker on the same exact frame set .
