How much is it?
-
• #53
They have not stated the price yet but I would imagine at least £10 a night on top of a yearly membership/transponder hire.
Its weekly for E12's and fortnightly for 3rd and 4ths starting at 7pm. Max of 74 riders a night with 24 on the track at once.

Registered but I doubt I'll make it past the first cull with my inexperience and lack of accreditation...
-
• #55
Do you have to be fully accredited already to register an intent to ride? I won't be until the end of November, but would like to race when I am..

From their Facebook page
IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING TRACK RACING ACCREDITATIONS: If you have not yet completed your Track Racing Accreditation and are intending to register for the Winter Track League you need to book your accreditation course ASAP to complete it in time. Please contact the VeloPark on 0845 677 0600 and get yourself booked in

Yes, you can register intent to ride without full accreditation
They would be silly to turn people away if they are mid way through the accreditation.
-
• #58
I guess it depends how over-subscribed (or not) they are - they're not going to turn away accredited people over non-accredited.

Just perfect! Back to uni and no track bike! Money well sent for accreditation! =/

In. If they accept me...
Not done a track league season before, due to time and effort to get to HH after work, but I'd really like to get some regular races under my belt.
Are the special (last monday of the month) events going to be open to all categories? I'd like to get into Sprint and Keirin racing really, but one step at a time.

You doing your part 3 full time?
-
• #63
So if youre not an elite or top cat, you might get 10 chances to race between november and march.
Not exclusive or anything is it? -
• #64
Part time, whilst working plus no track bike atm.
-
• #65
Architecture sucks.
-
• #66
Looks like you need to be accredited before track league starts -
If your accreditation is incomplete, you need to complete it before track league begins. Failure to do this will result in your entry being rejected.
-
• #67
Just living the dream...will hopefully be back on the track at the end of 2015
-
• #68
^^ugh. Oh well. Guess I will try to register once I've jumped through all their hoops

Where are people finding the information about storage as there seems to be nothing about it on their website? Their whole site looks like it was knocked together in an afternoon by an intern to be honest.
I intend to take part in this league if I get past the registration process -

Annual Bike storage available now! Less £1 per day! Email for more

Thanks for the info. I can claim sport activity related costs back from work up to £800 per year - tax of course so I'm not fussed about the cost. It is a little expensive though like everything in London

Just got my confirmation email. Looks like I'll be racing this winter :)

Quality! That avatar gave me a good lol

Lucky you. I won't complete my accreditation in time so no racing for me at all until Herne Hill re-opens. What a PITA.
Pre-Registration needs to be completed by the 30th get in there! - http://www.fullgascycling.com/site/
