So I changed my cranks out for 165mm Stronglight ones, sorted the saddle height and now feel a tiny bit better about the frame size, I'm going to measure it tomorrow to make sure it's 54x54 as my eyes tell me it's large.

I've rebuilt my 29er recently - gone from rigid carbon forks to a carbon Lefty, Powertap rear hub and switched from a double to triple chainset. I gave it a shakedown run around Grizedale today and all worked rather well.

New bike for my GF. A seventies Motobecane. There are still a few tweaks left to do though.
She likes it... It might need a longer stem though.

@eyebrows Nope but the frame was in need of serious repair :) so I had to remake the right chainstay. Now i just have to bleed the hydraulic brakes, install the brakes,shifter and cut the steerer :D

I think the stem must go down more, but got to change the cable hanger first. So this will do for now.

Saddle is temporary and pedals as well.

What fasteners did you use? They look a bit like the black plastic jobs you use for kitchen units

They're what the Raltecs come with

Needed: New bars, stem and seatpost for road bike.
OS Semi-compact, 110, 27.2.
Currently deciding between:
Fizik (cyrano R3, chameleon bars, and R1 stem) everything.
Thomson SP and Stem and 3T (ergonova) bars
A seatpost and the Pro Stealth Evo Carbon combo.
Budget is somewhat limited, but the above should give you a clue as to how much.
Any suggestions?
