Many thanks. He had a disgusting yellow Elan from the early 90s that he sold for funds to do the resto on this beauty.

The elan is a very pretty car..heathen. The type 14 is a different car (beast), supposed to handle amazingly with the fibreglass body as a stressed member of the whole..design ahead of is time. The design had a low drag which seeing as cars were designed without a wind tunnel is an amazing feat. Still a very pretty car from the time.
Thinking about racing it ;)
Is the type 14 from a kit or Lotus built?
I owned an elite, can you guess which one?
