  • Yeah, he's not a big fan of going to the vet at the best of times.

It might teach him to stop being so rough with Opie though.

  • Good luck with that.

Have had farm cats that would sleep on each other, groom each other then take lumps out of each other. Bits of ear etc.

  • They don't sound very animal friendly. :(

  • went to visit my mum (her new kitten) yesterday... It's a 2 nth old rescue feral from outside her work... it had been in a fight and was sat in the same place all day scared and was probably going to die like the other kittens when the geese and big birds come along in the evening. They brought him in at about 4pm that day when it was still just sat on the grass outside. He had the tip of his nose and mouth all injured, but is now healed. was a tiny kitten when she brought it home, it's still tiny now! And tame, just like a household kitten, well, tame for a kitten to which everything is a game! It's called Hamish.. yeah my mum is good with pet names...

  • Ah black cat.........

  • Some feral cats seem to stay feral, while some can be rehabilitated.

Friend has just stolen/gained a ginger tom. The cat isn't chipped, nor under fed. Seems that no one nearby admits to owning or seeing the cat before. Ginge seems have made himself at home, even though they have a dog. The cat is making itself at home and even usurping the dog, by stealing the dogs bed, the dogs position on the sofa.

  • Squashed face cat....

  • Thanks for this. I thought there would be more options with more tech.

They should make one that you can track with an app on your phone. So you can lock moggy in remotely once you've seen they're home safe.

  • Yeah thats normal. I have a 4ft dog bed with a cat sat in it while the massive labrador sleeps on the floor. Once the dogs unconscious the cat moves onto my bed unless the dog attempts to use his basket, in which case the cat moves him again.

  • Are you stressing out your cat?

Sounds like basic common sense - sad that people may not be aware of these signs/potential triggers.

  • What a sweetie.

  • meme worthy

  • Definitely a cutie ;)

  • It is 9 years this week since Sam 8 came to live here.
We've had a few traumatic times, (stepping in a tin of blue paint, getting covered in oil, losing two toes to cancer), but we'll be celebrating later.
