Swansea Bay 10k this Sunday, it's going to be perfect conditions and the sub 40 minute pacer is in the same running club as me.
I've only gone under 40 once before in a windy, hilly race, I'm pretty sure I've got a 38 something in me at the moment. Do I go for the safe option stick with the pacer and get a new pb of a few seconds ?
Or, do I go off like a scalded cat with the risk that I blow up and finish in 40 something but still clinging onto the hope that it all comes together and I blow my pb out of the water ?
