  • ^ Shit. I'd just resolved to try a Castelli long sleeved jersey in the hope it would be ok. I really can't be arsed with wool. I have a horrible feeling I'd end up sagging the pockets or shrinking it or something.

In that case, Sportwool is perfect for this, it got the best of both world.

I abused mine quite a lots and it still held up admirably (Rapha stuff).

  • Swift Cycles, Spitalfields also have a few Castelli bits from what I could see today.

  • Nuclear option is an extreme weight-gain program to get me up to "normal" proportions. BEEFCAKE!

I'd go this route. A common beverage in the part of Hawaii my grandparents lived in was a chocolate-banana-peanut butter milkshake. They rule but are somewhere in the 700-1000 calorie range. http://muscleandbrawn.com/1000-calorie-homemade-weight-gainer-shake/

  • What about the Chapeau casual range....

I have no experience of it but it looks decent.

I recently got their merino base layer top in a sale at Peloton in Spitalfields. It's really comfy, I've washed it a few times and not yet noticed any deforming, and another plus; it's super long so a possible option for the skinny people upthread. It's quite fine so I don't know how well it will wear, long term it may not be very robust.

Also, the logo is not as obtrusive as on some of their polos and jerseys; I don't mind it, but I can see how some might dislike its hipstery-ness.

  • Finisterre merino base layers do the job for me, I have a few. They are much longer than my jerseys, 'casual' enough to wear off the bike and hard wearing so far. The branding is unobtrusive and probably removable. The merino is also produced to sound animal welfare standards. They won't give you a 'race' fit mind.

  • I ordered a Torm T8 yesterday, so I'll soon find out. I'll try to remember to post an update here for my fellow Daddy Longlegsers.

  • Yowzer! Whipping cream?! I'm getting palpitations just thinking about this!

  • A mate of mine is doing some jerseys and arm warmers for his cycle infographic business: MassifCentral. I just got the jersey and love the simple graphic design..

  • There's a Torm topic on here somewhere, should have all kind of information for you.

  • Really love that, the armwarmer bundle look awesome with it, shame you have to buy it separately (unlike says, Hackney GT).

  • The velobici website is terrible given the price of the clothes. I was shocked there wasn't a Netscape counter at the bottom of the page.

  • I found an old castelli race cape of mine in the attic today, it's so short in the body at the front that it stops around my solar plexus.

  • Feel free to substitute the protein powder and whipping cream for chocolate ice cream. #athletetip

  • Im calling this Louis Vuitton meets Jurassic Park.

  • 9/10, would ride.

  • Entire warmer can be sublimated. What Freud said?

  • That'd be good if it wasn't for the text.

  • I hope you write the full BUNSRLTW name when signing on for events.

    :D

  • We do.

  • Saw the Massif Central kit on Milltag's instagram the other day. I am so, so keen on it.

Love the Jurassic Pink action too!

  • Who else, other than champ sys will make up a small quantity (~20 pieces) of custom kit (jerseys/bibs/skinsuits), preferably to the same standard?

Don't get me wrong, I like champ sys, I just don't want their logo emblazoned all over the kit when I'm aiming for a fairly minimalistic design.
