Chainset was nowhere near 'as new' he insisted I paid as a Paypal gift and then when it arrived (scuffed, scratched and well used) he literally told me to 'piss off'... Complete c*nt of a guy. Avoid like the plague.

For the record Jon received a brand new axle, a brand new LH crank arm, a brand new 130 bcd spider (which i threw in), the RH crank arm was lightly rubbed but not scratched, the spider ring option was used and the FSA chainring option was brand new- which he did not select.

The LH crank alone retails at £250. In my opinion he got an epic deal.

Thats my final word on the situation. I could not be arsed talking shite on forums like this. If you want to talk shit to me in person ill be racing the Dave Creasy Memorial at Herne Hill this Sunday. Dont expect a positive reaction.

I'd suggest that you wouldn't be in this situation if you'd put "RH crank arm lightly marked" or similar in your original description.

I've got these cranks, I paid a great deal more than £300 for mine, although I bought them new.

Overall, it looks like you've not described the cranks accurately, and then lost your rag when called on it.

However, JonJones is probably buggered, due to you insisting on Paypal gift and him agreeing to use it.

I know JonJones very well through buying from him and selling to him for years, I know him to be completely honest and not a troll, if he says the SiSL were not as described, then I believe him. As for telling anyone to piss off when they buy something in good faith and find it is not as described, not really polite in LFGSS land, or any forum come to that.

Might I suggest next time, if someone complains, a slightly more appropriate response would be "lets talk about it" as opposed to the other. But photos on an ad of the actual thing you are selling is a good way of proving what they were like before you sell them.
