  • Also very short stem for a flat bar too.

  • Here are some things which happened yesterday evening:

I was walking from Hackney Wick (White Post Lane) up the Col de New Shiny Olympic Park.

A man was on his bike.

He got out of the saddle and his pedal sheared off in a loud bang, propelling his testicles towards his top tube.

His toes were still in his clip, attached to the now fully independent pedal.

His bike was a beautiful baby blue Foffa in what looked like good nick.

None of these facts are necessarily directly relevant to one another.

  • Same thing happened to me, about 3 or 4 years ago. The BB spindle had cracked. Then about 6 months after I was giving it some beans as the lights changed and I bent the (steel) drive-side crank.

  • impossible. that would never happen on a bespoke bike. are you sure it wan't one of those cheap chinese knock off foffas made from inferior imported parts and shonkily put together?

    knoffas?

  • bespoke bike

the customer must have requested it to be made of cheese.

  • Italian cheese I guess, hope the riders Max Walls are Ok

  • The all new bespoke Foffa 'Vasectomy' range... Killing unborn babies since 2007.

  • Who's running the book on how long it'll take Dani to arrive and tell us his cranks are made in the same factory as Rotors or something?

  • Cranks are bespoke ffs. No factory all are one of a kind.

  • RIP Foffa wiki page. Your star burned bright but was snuffed out before its time.

  • Not sure it was cranks, more pedals which succumbed to the almighty torque required to breeze over the first of many new Tellytubby hills in Stratford's flagship BBQ hotspot.

  • And it seemed to me, you lived your life, like a Crankset in the Bin

  • Gonna make you a FOFFA you cant really use

    so dark so good

  • I should post mine, you guys would have a fucking fit...

  • is it totally bespoke?

  • Are you ready?

  • Holy crap... That doesn't look too bad!

    Are you sure it's a foffa? ;)

  • Cheers lol. I bought it stock and decided to future proof it with higher quality parts so I can get another higher quality frame and swap it all over.

  • That thing must weigh atleast 9.2kg. otherwise it would be reasonable.

    šŸ’©

  • 8.9 the last time I weighed it I think. It's heavy but it gets me from A-B while I'm waiting for my Talbot.
