Blasting down my usual commute. I had had a chap on my wheel but I dropped in, and was catching another rider when we hit a queue of traffic due to a car waiting to turn right. Given that fact we both filtered on the left. Just as the rider in front of me was about to pass a car, that car suddenly jerked left (there was a road going to the left as well, off the one we were on forcing my fellow cyclist to violently swerve to avoid being hit, at which point he hammered the car window but it just sped off. I commiserated and then basically took his wind as he drafted me for the rest of the ride, even thanking me as I peeled off. In fact there was him and the the other chap who caught back up.
