  • Meant to say no easy accomplishment, but my phone isn't letting me edit...

  • Thanks Pepe!
Mobile technology don't like me much

  • Sick as hell @Dom! You finally got your V1 oh and happy birthday?

  • Still mortified about this...

  • Gangsta is without doubt the greatest frame ever.
Only problem is the headset is being a total pain in the arse. To let the bars spin freely it basically as to be totally untightened... All notchy and crunchy and bullshit

  • user error

  • I know it is. Never had this problem before though. Really bloody annoying

  • Gangsta is without doubt the greatest frame ever.

plenty of finnish ex-owners might disagree with you on that..

i used to want one, never got around buying one though. plenty of gangsta's sold in the last year, only size that fits though is the V1 50cm.

  • shit headset, nothing to do with the gangsta

  • best integrated headset anyone?

  • Fit some new bearings?

  • Diatech Ib1

sounds like installation fail or you need more spacers. There is a good thread on here about installing integrated headsets if you do a search.

  • Its got a proper cult following these days especially since they aren't as easy to get a hold of.

SO... did a bit of reading on here.
potentially i have the wrong bearing size?

does anyone know the exact sizings i need for gangsta?

  • So @Elra is there something you would like to show us?

  • Double crown forks available again for a limited run: http://instagram.com/p/tBV6CKl-dx/

$250 NEW BMW GANGSTA FORK LIMITED RUN email suddenlybrooklyn@gmail.com First come first serve What's up peops. It's been almost 10 years since the first Brooklyn Gangsta's tubes were joined together. Domestic production halted when the tubing distributor ran out of the tubestock used for the fork legs and chainstays. The good news is that it's available again and I talked Joe into doing a run of Gangsta forks for everybody who missed out the first time. He agreed after I assured him I would handle the orders. This is not the unicrown Clusterfork but the original and iconic double crown. There will be two fork lengths available- the old school Gangsta length of 405 mm and a standardized 390 mm that would work on a wide array of bikes, including the Gangsta. Fork rake is 35mm. Ample tire clearance on even the shorter length fork, easily up to 45c. Powdercoat is available in matte black, matte clear, and of course raw. Canti bosses are available for a $25 additonal fee. Shipping or free NYC pickup available. These forks will be available first come first serve. The payment options available are Paypal and cash in hand. I set up an email to make sure nobody gets lost in the clutter: suddenlybrooklyn@gmail.com. Please specify length (390 or 405), canti bosses y/n, and color (matte black, matte clear, raw) in your email. Thank you all! I hope we make some people very happy with this news today!

  • ^ Awesome!

Now I wonder if we'll see any nice frames built using this tubing.

  • That will be like £250 delivered to London, if not more.

  • Probably, figured someone might be interested though. Couldn't remember if the Ted James group buy ever worked out...

  • $250 = £153 is not a bad price. Maybe @hillbilly can bring us a few on the way back.

  • Ted James group didn't work out because lots of people wanted em but when push came to shove and you had to use your wallet they suddenly lost interest.

  • I think I'm going to try and get one of these forks. Blasted off an email. Will see what they come back with regarding shipping.

  • I just sent them an email too about the v1 forks, I looked into the option of going with Ted by myself and it was looking at about £200 and a 3 month wait

  • Ive emailed em too as I want a disc fork which I doubt i'll be able to get.

  • I've had a reply saying shipping via USPS will be around $40. They reckon it's a 3-4 week wait to get them.

I've added canti bosses to it so the total has come to $315 including shipping. I guess depending on how much customs sting me for, it could be around £230 total?
