  • It looks to me as though there is a part missing, with a loop at one end for the strap, a 'keyhole' shaped hole at the other, springs over the head of the fitting to allow easy removal, and is probably still on the original strap.

Something like the leather neck strap (Japan) from the store at fedka.com might work?

    for what it's worth...

  • Does anyone know what kind of strap I need for this?

    ..what camera (maker) is this?
Looks like the ones Hasselblad and Mamiya medium format cameras have, don't know what the clips are called, but basically they do look like thi:

  • Looks similar to the strap for my RB67 but round instead of square.

This image demonstrates how the strap works:

    Also, this video helps explain:

  • Super Pro ™

  • lol

  • A few favourites from my first few rolls with the pentax 645

Can anyone tell me what happened with this one? Im pretty sure its not overexposed but I don't really know why its so foggy. I shot it with some Rollei 400s film that I pushed to 800, was that not such a good thing to do perhaps?

  • Cheers you three, couldn't even picture what it would look like

  • Middle two are really lovely btw clockwork, nailed that exposure

  • ..dammmm.. that's the one you picked up for just £89 ??
    That's a steal!
Condition looks very very good from here, compared to all the other usied bodies out there,
got the new (better multi-coated) version of the 80mm, too!

  • @clockwork_killa The last shot just looks underdeveloped on the left, maybe the developer didnt get at it evenly. some films really dislike being pushed, perhaps the Rollei stuff is just an awkward sod as well.

  • Agfa APX 100 / Nikon L35AF

  • nice!

  • cheers!

  • Liking the look of those shots with the agfa apx 100 Tiki.

    Have you tried other speeds?

  • No; I hardly did any black & white stuff the last months / years at all.
Got a green filter for the L35AF (since it's the only point & shoot I have that takes filters / meters through the lens), so decided to give it a go - and APX 100 is the only remaining b&w film still being sold by drugstores / supermarkets over here - readily available, and cheap - like 3 Euros.

So regarding the "look" - all the above are shot with a green filter, and scanned with the curves up, they did not look that great first (in the end scans look better than the other films I tried, namely TMax 400 and (the new) Tri-X).

  • Just got a few rolls back from a cycle trip through france/belguim/netherlands earlier in the year, but most came out underexposed. Really need to work out the metering more.

    And one ridiculous one:

On a side note, are there any particular things people are thinking about/trying to capture when shooting?

  • Cheers Tiki,

I pretty much only do darkroom enlargement at moment, not scanning, but your shot of the building and the time isn't passing have a tonality that I really like.

I may have to try and get some of that agfa and experiment.

  • The shot of the cellist is brilliant - the person in the blue jacket makes it.

  • @shinkuu_kiss Loving that shot.

Meh, I think I have to gain access to a darkroom again, too, and mage big, fat, beautiful prints.

Yea with the shot of the buildings I was pretty sure that would turn out nice in b/w when I shot it; colour / tone / structure of these tower blocks are very interesting.
