  • Oh my...

  • Love this shit.

I think I've got some very clean Delta's & Levers in the Shed.

    PM me if you're interested.

  • DAMN!! I was really hoping there would be a clear cut favorite, looks like it'll come down to my own personal choice. That's cool though, it's still a while off, so lots of pondering to be done for now I guess.

  • Building your own bike to your personal taste? Are you new here?

  • Haha.. I know right! It's a new concept I'm trying out!

  • Thanks Jingle_Jangle,
    PM sent.

  • Why have I never thought of that!

  • Amazing. My vote is all of the colours... And more colours.

  • A few more components.
Cinelli L.A.84, Cinelli XA stem and Ambrosio tape, all NOS.

  • Some more goodies arrived in the post last week, including a really nice set of Campagnolo Delta brakes and Campagnolo C Record brake levers.

  • I also managed to track down a set of NOS Campagnolo Record clips without the pressed out tang, which will fit nicely on my (very rare) Stronglight Delta pedals, along with the NOS Campagnolo straps.

  • This is going to be a winner... do you plan on riding it?

  • Hey thanks Borek!
Yep I'll ride it for sure, but definitely not all the time, it'll be more of a sunny Sunday cruiser.

  • I like the first colour looks up to date l myself had a Telfer low pro built back in the late 80's what number does yours have stamped on the BB ?

  • Add me to the list of general admirers of this build, very excited to see it built up!
    I'd go yellow, colour-wise

  • Sick frame!
...and all components look nos! You must have done some research there :)

  • Hi INTHEKNOW, I'd love to see a photo of your Telfer low pro if you have any? There's not a lot of photos on the net of Telfer frames, which makes it hard to decide on an authentic looking paint scheme.
I haven't found any numbers on my frame, however I did send photos to Rob Telfer who confirmed that it was one of his.
The paintwork on the frame is very thick so I'd be interested to see if I find any numbers once it's been stripped down. Maybe it never had any numbers stamped on it because of the BB keel, who knows?

  • Thanks mate, it will be a good day when the components start going on. I like the yellow too!

  • Thanks Breso,
Yep there's lots of NOS gear going into this build, I really want it to be something special! There's countless hours of trawling bike sites in that components list, lucky for me that's all I do with my spare time anyway! ; - )

  • Beejay I will be home at the weekend I will post up a picture

lines starting with a 'greater than' denote quoted text

  • Thanks INTHEKNOW, look forward to seeing it!

  • I like the pink.

EDIT: was commenting on paint scheme, didnt realise there was a page 2. #fail

  • We all like the pink mate, but let's try to keep it clean! ; - )

  • Here we go not the best pictures I do have better but will need a bit more time
