  • Am gonna commit a sin and go to Tesco for my craft this eve, need to keep this month cheap. That Revisionist saison sounds good.

  • keep it cheap?

    tesco value vodka bong

  • Food essence

  • I went to Mikkeller at the weekend. It is heaven.

Vesterbro Pils and West Coast IPA pictured here.

  • Just had the left hand milk stout in the nitro bottle. Definitely a better serve for the stout than the co2 bottled version, almost as good as it is on draft

  • Tool - Frontier, 7.1% at King William 4th for £3 a pint! Incredible.

  • Another tasty one from a can, Westbrook Brewing Co IPA

  • Anyone be arsed to post the camra best 16 taverns nationwide?
    Cant wait for autumn brews

  • Not seen the list, saw that mr bike biz was privvy to it in advance, is it past embargo?

  • Off to Broadbottom asap then, Ta.

  • Today:

Seven Brothers IPA, from a new Salford brewery. Going to try some others from them I think.

13 Guns American IPA by Thwaites' "Dan Craft" brand was a pleasant surprise, will have that again.

  • Got a huge stash of Hackney Brewery Golden Ale for our wedding in a couple of weeks. A friend of mine from uni is one of the owners/brewers, really really nice guys working their arses off to put out nice beer. We've had customized HB labels(pic on our wedding thread) done by our friend teawolf.co.uk. They're gonna be rad.
    Yum...

  • For any cheapskates: Greene King IPA is only £1 a bottle (500ml) in Sainsburys ATM

  • Not too bad that, got a few the other day.

Tonight though, Tripel Karmeliet. Always a winner, and the first tripel I ever tried, at the Norwich beer festival

  • It's the least IPAy IPA there is.

  • Lots of good things on Saturday, i'd forgotten how nice Marble's Earl Grey IPA is. Enjoyed one whilst sat outside the tib st beer house watching the skater kids.

    @GA2G

Yesterday I was trying out the Hobgoblin from the Wychwood Brewery, and tonight I'm enjoying a cold Bishops Finger.

Both are excellent, but I am a bit fond now of the Hobgoblin ruby beer.

    Any other recommendations?

Take a ride out to Witney and do the brewery tour..

After the summer of IPAs and light beers, truly looking forward to the colder autumn and heavier ales

  • My personal data will cost Punch Taverns much more than a free pint (if I'm quick enough to be in the first 144) at The Rising Sun.

  • I've already started on the stout.

  • We got the last of the Marstons Revisionist series on in my local.
Rye pale. Alright but not memorable,
Its dark with citra in seeming unusual
My faves in order were Dark IPA, Belgian saison then Hefeweizen Wheat

  • Cant wait for retirement.
Start the day with a pint, outside spooners-a great tradition started by the Australian founders who were never shackled with opening times set around shift workers
