Reverse brake lever on track drops

  • Maybe you're right.
    Gonna stick with it for a bit first, switch to NDS and see if I get used to it.

  • The reverse brake lever is great if you ever need to take it off without fuss, it's what I use. If you're going to tape it all up, just use hoods

  • Hoods all the way, makes climbing a joy(for me at least). I use old weinmann levers and dismantle one side like the hill climbers of old. Works for me and imho looks far neater than a reverse lever.

  • How it looks finished. It would look better if lever was compact, hanging nearing to the bar I think. But happy with position. Took it out earlier, was nice / reassuring to have lever at fingertips during fast descents riding in drops. Easy to reach from hooks too.
    Might look for a prettier lever. The tekro was an experiment.

  • If you put road drops and hoods you could also slam the stem and keep a similarly low position.

    Seems like a contradiction to have deep track drops and a large spacer stack.
