Our solicitor says it'll be £1300+search fees (£333.20) if that means anything. I think you can get cheaper (and if we knew we were going to use YBS I'd have been able to use relatives for free :( ).
I think you can get specialised conveyancing solicitors who charge less. Also you could always use one in a cheaper part of the country so long as they don't expect you to visit in person for ID checks or anything.
