Sounds like a good idea. Something for Jens to go out on with a bang (should be doable with the rolled back time), get lots of good publicity and also use it as a Trek equipment/logistics test and shakedown in prep for Fabs to try for a real time later on?

Clever sprint from Cav in ToB, forcing Viviani onto the crap cobbles

No Hinault? Or did he have his own page?

Really BC? Really?

Nicole Cooke isn't pulling any punches on it:
@helenpidd BC not supporting road women nothing new, status quo for 15 years. No strategy from the "kings of strategy".Publicly funded sexism

Cooke's autobiography is an excellent read, pretty much all in the vein of that tweet and a case study in what integrity means. She's excoriates David MIllar, for example.

Viviani to Sky seems like an odd move, but they do lack a pure sprinter.

I think Sky Italia still contribute to the budget, so for them it's important to have some Italian riders in the team.

I've never bought pro kit before, but the MTN-Qhubeka kit with its current discount is quite tempting, and it's basically for charity.

What was her issue with Millar? The doping or something else?

That damn hair of his, its too shiny

And he simply has too much of it. #notjealousasimbalding

^^^. Yes, the doping. She's not one for giving dopers a second chance. What she hates, really, is injustice, whether it be with dopers or British Cycling. Shane Sutton doesn't come out of it looking too good either. Not that she is just bitter or angry, she is also generous towards, and appreciative of, the people who helped her and her fellow athletes.

I think he learnt a lesson the hard way today - always read the road book, especially the section on the final kilometre.

But, what a fucking ride! He's in the group with all the GC favourites, after 225 kms, the furthest distance he's ever raced, and he's having a dig off the front. Fair fucking play.

Looked a sore one but still creeped over the line before Dowsett I think so hopefully not too banged up.
Reckon he got a bit excited as he'd attacked moments before... Stunning ride just to be up there with such a strong bunch.
Loved the echelons forming as they came back along the coast-really helped the break stay away, I loved seeing the peloton struggling up the Beacon too!
TT's going to be an interesting one tomorrow...

Amazing pictures!
Looks like he loses his back wheel and then slams on...ouch.
Fair play, that is fairly awesome.
