This is a beautiful bike, exceeded expectations, iridescent paint job that doesn't come across in pics, the wind has nothing on it. Fluid and insanely light and tight. I couldn't commit today after a lovely test ride as have to rally funds but Henry is such a good sort I had to spread the word. Kind of wish I wasn't posting...

When I take the 'Rensho, will she let you keep the 'Rotta?
-
• #15
There just isn't space, it's already awkward getting to bikes at the bottom of the pile. Luckily the 'rensho is just a frame so it hanging up next to Scoot's unused Planet X track frame.

Hi could you give me the length from centre of bb to saddle rail in the pic? Is there much more left to extend the seat post? What is the length of head tube? Trying to see if I can squeeze onto it, lovely bike. Is posting an option?
-
• #17
With this seatpost the max useable length from BB to rail clamp is 77.5cm
The headtube is CtC 11cm -
• #18
postage could be possible but I would really rather avoid it.
-
• #19
What's the seat tube c to t? Cheers
-
• #21
@velocipede65 the seat tube c to t is 57.5cm
-
• #22
Dam it - just too big!! GLWS

It rides like a 56 square. The layback seatpost isn't ideal for me as I have to have the saddle slammed forward but it's so nice.
-
• #24
beautiful, but way too big for me. friend might be interested depending on budget stretch :)

Henry can I grab a test ride on this? Interested to see how it rides compared to mine- yours is 56cm square, mine is 57.

I have run out of bike space at home so this lovely Serotta needs to go.
It is a 1992 Serotta Colorado LT with full Dura Ace, hubs, derailleurs, crankset, everything, even the seatpost.
It has a Cinello pantographed stem and classic Cinelli bars. The wheels are Ambrosio Excellights on Dura Ace hubs.
The size is 56 c-t-c top tube, not sure the stem length, can measure when I get home, but probably 110mm.
It has barely been used, the guy I bought it off had kept it in his loft until moving house so needed to sell it and he bought it from the original owner who also never used it. As such, the rims aren't worn at all and it's in great condition. The tops of the levers are a little scratched, there's a couple of scuffs on the decals but otherwise it's in great condition.
The gears work fine, they're not set up that well because I changed the cables and didn't get around to fine tuning them, but they mostly work.
It will come without pedals and a Selle Italia X1 saddle rather than the one pictured.
£550 picked up from Old Street during the day or Essex Road in the evening/weekend. Frankly it's worth a good amount more but that is how much I paid for it a few months ago.
