I have some New inners coming. So I just need to cover any remaining prutruding tyre studs (on the inside of my snow tyres), and I'm ready for Winter. Still fancey some XC style 3.8" tyres. But I want to replace my rims first. They are massively shit.

Did you end up getting a pressure gauge?

Yes, but haven't used it yet. It's for schraeder valves but I also bought some adaptors for presta valves.

If you want to borrow them, I think I know where they all are, but won't be poloing this week. Might be able to bump into you at Piccadilly 7:10ish or 6:30ish later this week.

Don't need one as such, but might pick one up when I get some 29+ tyres sorted. What did you go for in the end?

Bikes and sea! But I'd be completely shattered after 10 minutes!

So if one would like to build/buy a fatbike for as little money as possible, which way should one go?
Specs would be something like:
Singlespeed, or 1x9
4" tires
rigid frameset
some cheap hydro discs

Second hand On-One fatty, probably.
