Mostly I'm pissed because, once again, I've publicly demonstrated that I'm not as smart as I'd like to think I am.
If it weren't for that, I'd have just gone with "dick", rather than "fucking dick".

Check both users IP first before making allegations.
IPs are not the only trace a device leaves behind, checkout out the EFF Panopticon before trying to use aliases again, oh and even were that not the case your use of the English language betrays your identity... you are what is known as a muppet.

And would he have got away with it, if it hadn't been for the meddling kids?
-

Not really... he's a bike thief as he did steal someone's bike... and then he posted a video of bike theft on the internet.
If the cyclist in question wants to, he could probably have TaxiWarrior prosecuted for dangerous driving, mugging, and theft.
Perhaps the cyclist was the origin (but not cause) of the lower mark when the taxi swerved into the bike lane, but the upper marks on the taxi appear to be the cyclist trying to escape a huge chunk of metal coming towards him suddenly.
After that though... the taxi driver essentially intimidates the guy, attacking him by forcefully holding on to his bike and throwing it around, and then steals the bike off him.
The taxi driver has the nerve to think that the cyclist fled the scene of an accident, when it's clear even from his own words as @User1 that the taxi driver intimidated the guy and that he probably fled for his own safety after he had been mugged and assaulted.

Not that this means I'm as smart as I like to think I am...

... but that doesn't mean I'm not enjoying it.
@ TaxiWanker: Shaggy knows how I feel?
I just asked Jim Sharp how you feel: he said you feel like you got my foot in your ass!
That'll smart! #oof

A friend of mine's sister has had her bike stolen in Manchester:
Eleni Papadopoulos is an amazing young woman who's studying at Manchester University. She's also a Paralympian Swimmer and Triathlete training for the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Last night her specially adapted bike was stolen from outside the Manchester Aquatics Centre.
Eleni has Epilepsy, Cerebral Palsy and nerve damage and as a result of her disabilities in not permitted to drive, therefore her bike is her main form of transports and with a 30 hour training schedule per week balancing alongside what is supposed to be balancing with her studies - her bike is key to helping her balance doing all this.
She only left the bike at 1930 (double locked to bike rack outside main entrance to MAC), because she was borderline about to have an epileptic fit (and is not supposed to cycle in this state). She arrived back at 4:15am this morning for training and it was gone.
Eleni is devastated. The bike is worth £1500 has been adapted with extra brakes that are positioned to help accommodate her disabilities. It is a white and silver Scott Speedster size extra small / 49 inch frame. It has her name on the top bar of the frame (Eleni Papadopoulos).https://www.facebook.com/bbcradiomanchester/posts/10152454009169965

Anyone had a condor fratello nicked recently?
-

Can you post that in the MCR sub forum stolen bikes thread too?
I hated leaving my bike for even 1hr outside aquatics, was a double d-lock with kryptoflex thru saddle situation just on my beater bike.

I had my blue Schwinn Fronier GSD (2007 edition) stolen from the bike racks outside canada water tube station last saturday night (6th september). It was locked right next to surrey quays road and there was cctv there too. Have reported it to the police but no response yet. Although the bike is quite old I just had it completely revamped and it holds a lot of sentimental value. If anyone has seen anything please do let me know. I've attached a picture below. Thanks guys.

This can't be for real. "mat black bike for sale" (nice spelling there) in crouch end on craigslist. Anyone here a crouchender to check it out? I texted the guy for the frame number but not much hope I get a reply on that. No info on the bike, and selling for £80 (which you wouldn't even know if it was genuinely worth that because of the shitey secretive photos).

The government should respond by increasing the penalty for that activity so that the market equilibrates and there is an “optimal” amount of crime.
