Hi luckyskull, it is very nice indeed. Pretty much all the parts have gone to another frame apart from a few bits that were not that compatible with the new one.

Thanks smirri.
Price drops. Bump.
If somebody wants to go the period correct route with the tandem I might be able to get together some bits I have got left to help with the build (Bottom brackets, Terry's saddles, rims). -

Price drops.
The unknown frame has the same headset type and dropouts as some Raleigh Golden Arrow I've seen online although the forks are different. -

Not enough interest so will move elsewhere. Please close thread. Thanks.
Hi everyone,
Have got some frames that are surplus requirement.
Frames can be viewed/picked up from Southend or I can post at cost. Should be £15 for the solos and around £50 for the tandem Parcel Force 48h. I have no plans to come to London any time soon but can probably drop the tandem frame by car around Liverpool Street/Canary Wharf on a Saturday/Sunday morning for £10 just to cover petrol (can bring any of the others at the same time too).
More detailed pictures can be sent on request.
Dibs and pm or just a pm and I'll try to answer as soon as possible.
Cheers
Alex
1940 Claud Butler SWB
Frame number 405783
Claud Butler under BB shell
Pilot 53.5cm CTT seat tube, 55cm CTC top tube
Stoker 52cm CTT seat tube, 53cm CTC top tube
Seatposts diameter 26.4mm
Front spacing 100mm, rear 128mm
Built for 26" wheels but will take 700c
Front BB width 68mm, rear 73mm
Includes Brampton head clip in very good condition, Haden eccentric BB unit (that moves sideways to help achieve the perfect chainline) and seat post binders.
This little frame served me well for a while but just got another one so this has to go.
The paint is not original but it is very useable (it is a dark metallic green with gold lug lining). It has got chips and scratches but there are no dents or dings. It has been modified to take modern gears (braze on down tube shifter bosses, bottle cage bosses on stoker down tube, rear mech hanger, braze on seat tube for front mech and cable guides, all of which can be removed prior to re painting if following that route).
The rear BB shell is of an oversize type but I bought a pair of sleeves from the Tandem Club that reduces the diameter to take solo size BB's. They are fitted but can be removed if wanted.
It has got grease nipples at various points that have been painted over, so not useable at the moment.
The Claud butler transfer on the down tube is a self adhesive one.
Here's a picture of it built up to give an idea of geometry.
1950 Raleigh Sports
Frame 146886T which puts it around 1950/51
Seat tube 57.5cm CTT of top tube, 59cm CTT of seat tube
Top tube 56cm CTC
Built for 26" wheels
Spacing 90mm front, 113 mm rear
Seatpost diameter 25.4mm
This has been painted over at some point and has scratches and chips but no dents or dings.
Comes with the headset, BB which spins freely but will need servicing, lamp bracket, the seat pin which is not seized, head badge and the braze on pulley for Sturmey Archer gears.
1930/40's unknown frame
A.11 and a 5 stamped under BB shell
54cm CTT seat tube
56cm CTC top tube
Spacing 85mm front, 113mm rear
Seatpost diameter 25.4mm
It has been painted at some point in semi matt black. Again, scratches on the paint but no cracks or dents.
I have no idea of the make but the geometry put it as an early frame.
It has got bosses for quick release mudguard wing nuts.
Comes with headset, lamp bracket and BB which has got a Raleigh spindle.
Picture (a bit poor) of how I had it built up.
Italian Fiorelli, as raced by Coppi. Year unknown, 50's? 60's?
Frame 6295
Seat tube 54cm CTT of top tube, 56.5cm CTT of seat tube
Top tube 55cm CTC
Spacing 98mm front, 124mm rear
Seat post 26.4mm
BB English thread
Nervex lugs?
The frame looks to be fully chromed underneath the paint. There are scratches but no dings apart from a mark on the right hand seat stays that can be see in the pictures and the rear brake bridge that has been squashed a bit.
Chrome is a bit tired in places.
It has got 1 braze on down tube shifter boss so built for 1x5 or 1x6.
Comes with steel headset, seat pin which is not seized and the collar.
I'd like £85. SOLD
