just like cabbies don't use their mobile phones while driving
-
• #3
Of course some do. In the same way:-
Motorists don't either.
Motorists don't drive whilst on the phone.
Motorists don't drive whilst drunk.
Bears don't shit in the woods. -

Oh man, who let you in here?
Like Taxi drivers have never inappropriately U-turned in unsafe places, or pulled up suddenly without indicating, or exceeded the speed limit, or jumped a red light, or been chatting on the phone almost constantly and not paying full attention to the road. The list is never ending.
You must be a saint if you've never done any of the above. Either that or a liar, because frankly every driver, and every taxi driver has done at least one of those at some point.
Did you know that most laws are designed to only work for 80% of people? Speed limits are a great example... once more than 20% of people would be caught by the law, they seek to change it to encapsulate the majority. Not all people obey speed limits, but enough do that the effect is adequate (for safety, traffic flow, etc). The same happened with bike lights... a red constant light is better than the flashing pulses at determining speed and direction... yet the red flashing light was legalised when it was apparent that most people broke that law.
Pragmatism reigns.
I wouldn't mind so much were it not for the number of times a driver likes you, so angry with cyclists for whatever reason you are angry with cyclists, risks my life or forces me to take a dangerous position as you force your way through.
I can't wait until Uber and Hailo finally finish off black cabs. I've been a massively vocal defender of the black cab in various debates, but... every time I actually find myself listening to an anti-cyclist rant of a black cab driver, every time I see this kinda of crap on the internet as if you were holier than anyone else... guarantees my next journey is via Uber.
What a load of sanctimonious baloney.
People can download Uber here: https://get.uber.com/go/
It's cheaper, more luxurious, and the drivers are far friendlier.
Is this your Twitter btw? https://twitter.com/cabbychris

today i'll mostly be hanging around at busy intersections videoing taxi drivers parked in the advanced stop lane, chatting on their mobile phones, cutting up and causing cyclists to take avoiding action and u turns with out signalling
i'll post up a days worth of shitty driving by cabbies, luckily they all have number plates so we will be able to identify the dicks, maybe mr angry could take it up with them once he sees the evidence and maybe you can have a word with your colleagues about their shitty driving, as you do seem concerned about upholding the highway code
stones and glasshouses dude stones and glasshouses

They're not purposely going through the red lights. They are escaping from you as you are quite clearly after stealing their bikes as we've seen in your other video.
BTW odd how the sound doesn't drop out in this one, like it does in your other video.

Somewhere around 14% of drivers in this country run red lights. Admittedly that comes from that renown group of tree hugging, yoghurt knitting cycle lovers - Admiral Insurance so take that with an appropriate pinch of salt. Back in 2002 over 88000 red light penalties were issued by police to motorists (necessarily doesn't include cyclists). This reflected a 57% year on year increase. Basically you're looking at more drivers jumping red lights than there are actual day-to-day cyclists in the country.
The reality is that in this country, while drivers bang on endlessly about cyclists jumping red lights, they're just a bunch of fucking massive hypocrites. This probably includes Taxi Warrior who probably also sees nothing wrong with the 74% of drivers who intentionally exceed the speed limit (excessive vehicular speed being a continual contributory factor in fatal road collisions) and the countless muppets who think it's great to use an electronic device (phones, satnav, laptops, mp3 players all recently cited as being used by drivers and a contributory factor in recent fatal collisions).
Blustering about cyclists jumping red lights is just a way for drivers to divert attention from their own shoddy and dangerous behaviour on the road. I'm not condoning cyclists jumping red lights, I'm just amazed at divers' inability to put this into context with their own lawlessness. If drivers were penalised for all the breaches of the road traffic regulations that they actually commit rather than the ones that get enforced, the number of vehicles on the road would drop by about 80%.
Of course this would be great for those taxi drivers who could manage to obey the law. Endless new fares and empty roads for swifter, yet legal, movement. But do we see Taxi Warrior pushing for this? Nope, just guns for cyclists, who already reduce congestion on the road and whose removal from the roads will do nothing towards his own interest. Foolish, egotistical, ignominious.

Wasn't @NurseHolliday hit by a black cab, and he later found video footage of the same cab jumping a red light. The driver had doctored his number plate so as to not be caught by cameras.
Also please use Uber, much better than giving money to idiots like taxiwarrior.

This seems increasingly likely, but then.... idiots do exist.

Episode 6.
That's your own clip Taxi Warrior. You uploaded footage of your own taxi bowling through red lights, you galloping cocklord.
My question is no longer "Should Dennis Waterman play you in the tv series",
it's
"Are you as thick as Barry White's shit on Boxing Day?"

I think Taxi Warrior has a point, after seeing that video I doubt I'll ever go through a red again.

Not even just that, but he put his lights on full blind to dazzle the driver in front into going faster so that TaxiWarrior could then jump the red light.
