The circle is almost complete, Ved. The nodders are riding fixies and the fixengers are all building hybrids.
Everyone speccing flat bar commuters with discs, room for 30's, mudguards and pannier racks are effectively just building hybrids.
Or spending £££'s on custom steel CX/path racers which basically boil down to an expensive genesis day 1.
Or buying Evans own brand bikes. Remember the fuss in 2012 when it turned out Chris Hoy was starting a bike company to be sold through Evans? Now everyone is lapping that crap up.
I don't really care either way, it just funny to see the shift.
