FS: Roberts Columbus Track Bike 57cm TT

Right - this is somewhat tentative but I am going to list my Roberts track bike as it's not getting the use it should.

In general it is in excellent condition - there are a couple of small chips to the (amazing metallic sparkle) paint - the chrome is all excellent.
The headset could possibly do with new bearings and the cranks upgrading (they are brand new - but this bike deserves DA or Record)
The rear wheel has a mark on the non-driveside of the rim where a brake has been briefly used on it - but it could easily be touched up.
The saddle has a couple of scuffs and the bars have a little scratching to the tops
It measures 57cm c-c for the top tube and 59cm c-c for the seattube.
The badges just say Columbus - I think this is because Roberts used a variety of tubing depending on location - it is super stiff as it was a sprinters frame.
The fork was drilled when it was built (It would likely have been ridden to the track with wheels in carriers)

£850 collected from Bristol or £550 for the frame, forks and headset.

you shouldnt sell, but incline yourself to use it more. TOO beautiful. you'll regret letting go of it..

Wheels are Mavic pista 500 hubs laced to Wolber profil-TX rims with Conti Sprinter tubs and a 15t miche cog + Mavic lockring.
Bars are 3T pista and stem is a Cinelli 2a, tape is cloth.
Headset is Tange (not sure which model)
Saddle is San Marco Concor (orginal version)
Seatpost is an unbranded aero one (27.2)
Chainset is a Miche 165mm Primato with a stronglight 52 (iirc) ring
BB is Miche
Pedals are Mavic - they take Look Delta cleats

You are probably right - but it is going to be several years before the kids are old enough that I get a chance to take it to Newport on even a vaguely regular basis.

Plus if I am brutally honest its about 1-1.5cm too big for me.

Ok fair enough, how much would you want for the wheelset, I don't ride tubs, but I covet the hubs! Alternatively, anyone want to go in on the Wolber Profil-TX rims?

I'm interested in the stem and bars. What size for each and how much are you looking for?

The colour on this is so nice. I have a frame I’ve been meaning to get re-sprayed for a while, I think I’m going to use this as a reference.

Pretty sure the bars are 38cm C-C and the stem is 110 - will measure tonight.

Would be looking for £80 for the pair - they are both pretty rare, but a little tatty (the stem has been slightly modified but its previous owner to allow it to sit lower for a greater drop)

Would be after £180 for the wheels, collected from Bristol

How do, it sounds like you've sold it, but if not and if the wheel sale doesn't happen, will it still be available complete?
