Oh right. Yeah I'm totally with you. For me forward facing, campag -long, chromed dropouts are the fixed gear holy grail if you ever want to run 'guards.

Over in the hhsb thread 'conversion' is still a dirty word though... as if they're not just a bunch of diy hybrids #sickburn

I see your Campag dropouts, and raise you Paragon Machineworks:

Filth! But twice as many things to loosen/tighten and don't work any better than forward facing with a built in adjuster? Carrying an allen key rather than a spanner is good though. And maybe you can run the 'guard closer to the front of the wheel.

Is that a Talbot? If so, good work for bringing beige back. It looks great.
