honestly, I'd really be surprised if you could tell in real life the minor speed differences between the Pro and Evo. The main thing about the Pro is the warranty, and the longer write cycles of the memory.
that said, the 850 Pro is out now as well which uses even newer memory chips. It's a tad more expensive

I'm doing 2D & 3D visualisation rendering so any performance boost would be great. It's my final year of architecture and I want my laptop ramped up as much as possible for a resonable price. Although I don't know the real difference between the two SSD's I read the Pro is faster and therefor better for my needs.....what are your thoughts on this?
