Anyway, in all seriousness it looks like you parked in the cycle lane, as said up-thread, albeit an advisory one, so I'd say it was your lookout.

If he was hit side–on, the cycle lane doesn't really come into it. The fact the cyclist left his bike and ran off suggests he knew he was in the wrong.

Because you'd ground him against the railings in your car, then shouted at him whilst trying to pull his bike off him?

An assault charge would have been the proper result when you took your vid to the coppers.
