Some HTML things cannot be put into comments, these include iframe, embed and object.
Basically: They are a huge security risk.
So the only way to embed a video (which relies on either an iframe or embed) is for us to have code on the server the recognises a link and will convert it into an embed for you.
So the best way to get a YouTube video onto a page... is just to post the link into the comment.
The video may not be immediately embedded, it may take a moment. But if the video isn't there 5 seconds later, then send me a PM with a link to the comment in question as it may be that this specific URL is not recognised by the server. I'll fix the server.
And no, there is no way to delete your old posts, though you may edit them to a dot.
