Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was seriously
injured following a collision in central London.
Officers were called to Hyde Park Corner, junction with Constitutional
Hill, SW1 at 0004hrs on Monday, 1 September following reports of a
road traffic collision between a car and a cyclist.
Officers and London Ambulance Service attended the scene and found a
31-year-old man, the cyclist, suffering from serious head injuries.
The man was taken by London Ambulance Service to a central London
hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene. No arrests have been made.
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit investigate and
appeal for anyone who witnessed the collision, or the events leading
