Caleb had a small lump removed from his back leg over a week ago - hence his satellite dish.
Heard on Friday that it was benign which is a huge relief as he did have another small lump removed 6 months ago which was a melanoma.

Further to this:

He's made it 8 months, and the feared incontinence hasn't come yet, but its really starting to take its toll on him.
Whereas at the beggining he was having 1 bad day a week, he's now maybe having 2 good days. We've upped the painkillers he's on significantly and that's not really ideal, not least because of laxatives.
But he's such an adorable little idiot- we had a great weekend last week just goofing around with a tennis ball. Tough decisions ahead. -

The 'wife dog'? I think that kind of relationship is more suited to the cat thread.

@eyebrows Sorry to hear about the issues with your pup. Hope the next couple of months/ years go well. Must be a terrible experience

I live in fear that the mangy skulk at the bottom of my garden will snatch one of my cat-babies one day.
I don't think that's entirely possible, giving how quickly my 13 years old cat chase a fox out of our garden.

Did anyone go to the Battersea event and if so did they see the show of your staffie thing?.

One of my mates was telling me about his cat the other week - apparently there's a fox living at the bottom of their garden and his cat is best buds with it. Garden fox got into a fight with a mean neighbourhood fox recently and the (FEMALE!!) cat ran out to help BFF fox beat up mean fox.
Cats are weird :/

Speaking of black pets...my sister is trying to persuade me to adopt this little monkey that was brought in to her practice:
He's around 3 months old, but was tiny when he first came in. He's a very friendly kitten, interested in everyone. My sis is so sad he's being sent to a rescue centre on Monday :(
Probably a good thing they're up in Durham...
