Me and my dad are having a bit of a clear out so are parting with a few bikes and bits.
After some Googling I believe this to be the first ever model of bike Cannondale produced, there's a small write up here: http://mombat.org/MOMBAT/BikeHistoryPages/Cannondale.html
It's a very nice 80's aluminium road/touring frame with cool oversized tubing and rack/mudguard eyelets.
Specs are as follows:
52cm seat tube c-c / 55cm top tube c-c
Unbranded sealed bearing hubs to 27 x 1 1/4 Super Champion Competition rims. Front tyre is a 32c Vittoria competition - unsure of rear as it's quite worn and faded.
Groupset is a mix of various Suntour, Sunrace and Shimano with Suntour non indexed down tube shifters, triple Sunrace Apex chain set and 6 speed freewheel.
Brake callipers are NGC 500 Dia Compe and levers are Dia Compe too.
Belleri handlebars.
Nice fluted seat post but used the old seat so currently fitted with a BLB Uno saddle...
Price is £230.
The bike's in a decent rideable condition and you're welcome to come and try it out.
Any questions just ask and I can upload some more pictures upon request.
Collection from Bermondsey SE16.
