hmmm. I think all it demonstrates that the best way to ride up a 19% hill is to sit at your max sustainable power level with the right gearing to achieve your desired cadence, rather than irregularly attacking out of the saddle at 50rpm.
Applying 500w for 30 seconds on the 5% slope vs 19%. Not all watts are equal.
