I think the idea of a crafting meet up is excellent. Pockets aren't so arduous that they can't be sewn by hand too, for those without a machine (or who don't want to carry one!).

I am LOVING this idea.
I've got a sewing machine too if someone has the space?

I'd actually really like a 2015 jersey too so if you've got ideas for a jersey too Yasi, bring it!
Go ladies!

my idea is a little mental just working though it now
it has a sprocket in it to make it look cycling related -

If I can get rid of MOC for a day I definitely have the space, although I'm maybe a little far west for some tastes - have plenty of room for bikes tho and am next to Central line Perivale for those who don't want to do the miles. I can also provide tea and cake and an awesome cat.
Failing that I'm basically happy to travel pretty much anywhere. @Yasi - how big is your studio? :-D -

its hackney print club but then dont let me bring helpers which is a bit poo but i think its because its too small. i just call it a studi because it sounds cool :/

I know a really great space - huge enclosed yard outside, big tables and floor space inside - and bloody good reasonably priced pizza/coffee/local beers/cake:

What you've got so far is amazing Yasi - please don't stress yourself out over forcing your creative genius though x
there was also a brief discussion at the pub about dropping the "Ladies" bit of the LFGSS Ladies branding or whatever you want to call it.
I understand why some people don't like the term "ladies" however tongue-in-cheek it's meant so given the last jerseys had "ladies" on them, I'm happy for this batch to drop the ladies bit but somehow I'd still like them to reflect we're the best tranche of the forum/we are part of LFGSS iyswim?
Thoughts from everyone else?

@Yasi AAH SO GOOD !!
As per the ladies bit, I have very little to say, being
- quite new and shit
- not native english speaker
I do like that word, but it might not have the same resonance in my brain as in other's. To me it's a nice mix of pride + humility. Although I always feel a bit weird when being a woman becomes a distinctive sign. But again, what do I know, I didn't use it two years ago.
Might it be a case of making it less prominent ? That way we don't get rid of heritage but make it less about being a female-human, and more about being a liker and rider of bikes ?
I'm excited !
- quite new and shit
