Sure, theres loads of very 'standard' RIHs which got pumped out of the Limburg factory but the frames made at the original Bustraan shop in Jordaan (recently moved to Noord) are beautiful creations. I have one myself (lived in AMS for 4 years) and absolutely adore it.

Not really sure if that mixte is Limburg or Bustraan but surely nobody can argue with those lines.

i'd say the original Menheer Van Der Kaaij Jordaans built RIH, s are the most desireable,and could possibly apreciate financially over time, the serial number was stamped on the head tube, other rih's were not made in the Jordaan shop, but a factory, when the company was bought out, I met the Menheer in his shop, he is now in the north of amsterdam with his protoge Lester, I met him once in the west
lester has breathed life back into the brand imho, and is destined for great things

Yes, but the RIH lower end frames came from a different entity than their Amsterdam workshop. Forgot what the exact story is. Anyway, not all RIHs were born equal :) (you probably know this I guess)
