Well its not really their idea. Shimano do an SPD clip in platform that costs like £2
You can get speedplay cafe covers too -

No foot retention though. It's far from the worst bike related kickstarter.

Was that Storck badly priced? Didn't seem too bad a deal. Spec was a bit odd though.

Yeah looks like a pretty good deal for £2k, aren't Claviculas like £700 on their own?

^^rider chooses his own comfort over looks, must respect that.
here is something ridiculous car air fresheners in spokes. rider must sweat a lot so when he goes out with girlfriend she rides behind and gets fragrant air.

Nobody needs that much stack to be upright and comfortable. Look at Dutch bikes. That thing is hideous
-
• #35318
on second look actually you are right that stack is a bit too much just like the bike.

Actually I can see the point - all of my bikes run spds and although I do have walkable shoes (shimano touring and 5-10 Minaars) sometimes it would be nice to just jump on a bike in different shoes.
There's already some product (admittedly not as simple) that designed to run on top of that, Exustar for instance;
