I get what you mean about some of them, but Walton I think is the more 'athlete' out of all of them.

Read it.
It's 2014. No-one needs a frame pump. If you want to attach one to your tourer, that's by the by. This is HHSB, not Randonee Club.
The bottle cages, interestingly, are fine. Because bodging a track frame to do something it wasn't designed to is the heart and soul of HHSB.

I'd say most of them are athletes, they pretty much all compete at cat 1+ for road, and then they race track bikes for semi-serious money, with sponsors, if anything they're pro/semi-pro athletes

i do understand where you are coming from, but the mash guys are actually athletes, all cat 1 road racers etc.
i find it cringe when people say they are going out on "training rides" when they don't race, mate its just a bike ride. get over yourself. (note I dont race)

I am totally shit at. Trying to upload pics.........
I'm not sure how you know that but I wasn't really doubting their cycling prowess, I just don't think it's necessarily the right choice of word. Maybe a little pretentious? Although actually, pretentious is not the right choice of word either. I'm being pedantic, is what I'm sayin'.
