• yup easy peasy, the CTC guy and Roberts have been championing this for years in 9 speed. You need to clamp the cable in an unorthodox position to change the leverage at the rear mech.

    Otherwise of course you can use the leverage pulley adjusters as above. It's the kind of thing that Spa and St John street will keep.

    Do bear in mind that you can't let anyone else work on this hybrid drivetrain without warning them- they may replace the cable in the standard orientation if they are not mechanically skilled up to ninja grade (ahem).
