The frame is pretty impressively light (for a cheap thing). The stock fork isn't, but rides alright.
Geo... it's hard for me to judge as I've not really ridden many different mtbs of any wheel size. Mine was a good Dartmoor bike but I prefer CX bikes this type of riding (carrying happens).
It's weird to think there weren't many 29ers available in the UK four years ago. Riders at Afan were like "WTF, your wheels are big fella?"
