Oh, I don't disagree with the main point he is making, although I think he overstates it and I think it's more complicated than that. The press has a long history of building people up to then knock them down, in all walks of life, and he doesn't really explain why they haven't done it with Hodgson, other than it makes them look bad for backing him in the first place. I just don't buy that.
