Have a couple things in the mail.
Crankset will be mirror polished as soon as I get my hands on it.

Hello Langster lovers(and not so much)!
I'm just gonna leave my baby here for you to discuss with my point being that Langsters can be beautiful.
Cheers!

You're not doing a great point of demonstrating that.
Fugly saddle, wheel stickers, miche cranks, spacer stack and ugly seatpost with light in day time... All topped off with a sub average photo.
2/10 would not bang

Fuggly saddle - point taken its a Specialized Henge XC saddle. Came with the frameset. In a process of changing.
Wheel stickers - i like things original
Miche cranks - dafuq is ur problem? I specially went "all Miche" on a drivetrain. Cant see why they are worse or better then Omniums.
Spacer stack - point taken, in progress of slamming.
Seatpost - it's a default one. Waiting for a postman with Miche Supertype. -

Haha you guys are so mean!

They were so frustrated with my bike, they even forgot to mention the "sloping" top tube and "not proper" track geometry. That's a win right there. :D

Miche cranks are made of cheese unfortunately, the frame is on a new fork away from being proper track geometry...

The frame seems to be the only place you're not going wrong....

Still the best

When i grow up, i want to be just like you. :3
Also, i weigh next to nothing, so i guess there is a little chance of me making the cheese out of my drivetrain, threads and cranks. Not participating in Red hook Crit also.

"Seatpost - it's a default one. Waiting for a postman with Miche Supertype."
Prepare for the hate.
They so shit. They so ugly. -

I didnt bother speaking to anyone about it. They came on my Vig when I bought it but swapped them out for Omniums pretty quick and then used them on my beater, when I broke them I just bought another pair off a mate for cheap.

Fellow Gangsters,
has anyone of you tried to replace the default cone spacer on their alu Langsters without the whole headset or its upper part ?
I'm trying to "slam that stem", but the original 20mm cone spacer doesn't help much. Are there any ideas of lower (8-10mm) cone spacers that would fit as original?
-
• #1424
You can replace it with a small spacer or even a 0mm rise one if you wanted but unless your frame is too big for you it will make the drop unbearable. I'm pretty sure the geometry of the Langster is worked out including the 20mm conical headset spacer, the purpose of it is the reduce the head tube length thus making the frame stiffer. I have mine slammed to the spacer and it is just right with some compact drops, definitely wouldn't want to go any lower...

Thanks for the opinion. I still would love to replace it with 10mm one.
Cheers!
Man I regret selling mine now!
