Answer me this please, whisky lovers: We've got half a bottle of black grouse that needs drunk before Xmas. What cocktails are good with whisky?

Dredge reply:

Black Grouse with slightly less Drambuie makes a lovely rusty nail. Add orange peel with oils squeezed out for garnish.

Dredge and a half there. We had a leaving-london party at which all the booze got drunk, including the grouse and cherry liqueur. I vaguely remember what we named a "flaming duke" that consisted of the cherry stuff, brandy and lemon juice.... God I felt terrible the day after.
