Can users be merged? e.g. shifting all the things owned by https://www.lfgss.com/profiles/51254/ into https://www.lfgss.com/profiles/55593/

Sure, but you will lose some things (such as old PMs that the user had).

I can't imagine any 5 year old PMs will be missed now. I don't seem to be able to log in as mitre_tester anyway, so they are effectively already lost
