Need some rim recomendations, they're going to be built on xt disc hubs, and at least the rear though probably both - 36 spoke count.
I want them to be tough but not horrendously heavy.
Current thoughts are either Velocity Dyad or DT Swiss TK 540 which both come in at a little over 500g. I warned off the Mavic a719 due to lack of double eyeletting?
Any others I should be looking at?

Any of the £18 rims from Spa Cycles? They have Rigida, Alex and Exal at that pricepoint. Free P&P over £40 I think.

When I looked at the Rigida sputniks they did look rather heavy - almost 700g. I don't mind spending a little more to get something equally strong but lighter
