soz for the moody pic. will be finished if i can get hold of a thomson 80 or 90mm 0 degree stem in the next few days, the current stem is just to keep the forks in place while i work on it (will be on the hunt for atac pedals soonish too. but will run flats and straps for now)
thanks to fox for the wheels (open pro ceramics on goldtecs with cx ray spokes) and the cranks + bb

Jelly
Careful with eai on goldtec when you screw it on doe.
-
• #20
^ how come? do the threads not match
-
• #21
Because both hub and cog are anodised it can be very tight and result in stripping hub threads, with both being used and with a good clean and dab of grease you should be ok, just don't force it.
-
• #22
something with the anodizing making the threads to thick and the eai fucking them up. but i do believe that were the gold superstars not.. not the regular ones..
love me them wheels.

ah fuck i thought that was only phil hubs that had the issue. will be careful man cheers
-
• #24
both threads have been used previously so should be ok

(the silver bars are darker IRL, just bad lighting). however i am now unsure on a 31.8mm setup, and thinking a 25.4 might suit it better. thoughts? almost rideable just waiting on a cog from joss :-)
so at last I have got my hands on a large V1 gangsta track after about 6 years of yearning for one
I haven't really thought about how I want to build it up yet but I think;
thomson 0 degree stem and some alu (or carbon) 1 or 2 inch risers
goldtecs on tb14s maybe (or something similar I find in classifieds)
black SG75s and a matching ring (was originally thinking omniums but still undecided..)
