Just got this. Can confirm that it's slightly tank-like, but so much fun to ride.

Can anyone recommend a good straight blade cantimount fork?
I'm looking to convert my Gangsta track into winter mode and am thinking dual V brakes is the way to go.All I can find is the Easton EC90X which is lurvly but way out of my price range.
The other is a straight blade Alpina which would be perfect but I can only seem to find the ugly fat curved one. Any ideas?
Also there is the the Kinesis fork. Easily available but just looks VERY fat and I'm not sure how good that'll look on a Gangsta.
Finally can anyone identify this fork?

Fork on the Stoemper is probably Ritchey. You could try a Chinese carbon fork or All-City Nature Boy forks?

It looks like this one http://ritcheylogic.com/cross/forks/wcs-carbon-cross-fork.html

Does such a thing as a 135mm spaced disc braked aluminium SSCX frame exist? (Preferably with rack and mudguard mounts)

Pompetamine. Not alu, but...

I had a Pompino last year. I don't like steel.

You could always use any old alu cx frame which fits the bill and use a singulator or similar..

oh hay I have a singleator for sale
-
• #2246
I could, but the plan is for a frame that can be run as a disc braked SSCX bike, and also as a dual disc + suicide fixed winter trainer with mudguards. Might have to go Mielec.

Actually... that has no lockring thread.

• #2249
Wouldn't matter with two disc brakes... hmm, nice, but a bit pricey.

Adjusting the mount so the pads/disc line up will be a thing.
Another option is to pick up a 130mm spaced cross frame, fit a disc fork and run a rim brake on the back and either a double sided Eno hub. You'd have the same (small) issue with adjusting brakes, but you'd have a lockring for fixed.
Is that metric or imperial?
