Theo: Now worries, your charge into the hyde park underpass was particularly amusing. I first thought, 'He's bombing it! probably just enjoying some speed...', Then I remembered that if you braked the tyre might well explode again...
I'm glad we got everyone North and apologies to the tandem crew for some overzealous filtering.

It was the perfect day for a ride! Great route and a really interesting tour at Mill Hill. Thanks so much Nick for organising and everyone for the fun company.

So pleased you guys got a star-filled-sans-cloud night!
Really looking forward to Nick's semi-proposed, half discussed summer observatory ride.
Make it happen Nick :-) -

Heavenly weather and cycle event with great company.
We may have entered the Guinness Book of Records for the world's biggest puncture repair pit stop crew.
Funnily enough, of all the rides I've ever been on my GPS device decided to hang in a manner that required an unknown reset procedure buried in the manual similar to (according to Hollywood) arming nuclear war missiles, which reminds me of the telescopes movement and sound from stars to the moon to a nebula. Awesome.
I didn't know that building square near Piccadilly Circus even existed. Thanks for organising a unique ride Nick although you may want to consider holding a cat whilst presenting details about the universe, for full effect. Cheers!

This ride was just pure awesome even getting lost was kinda fun. Thank you so much for all the chats and info and the sights. That Moon, still getting giddy like a schoolboy just remembering!
I am so torn between being polite or putting my name down for the next one.
What a lovely bunch of people, what a lovely lead, what a lovely ride.
Thanks all round! Marko.

Brilliant day Nic, thankyou.........you obviously have communication with somebody 'upthere'...everytime you run a ride the weather is sunny :)

I love that after the wettest winter ever both the rides ended in perfectly clear skies, ideal for some star gazing. I may be asking Nic to arrange my summer trip to Yorkshire to see Le Tour to guarantee good weather.

hmm, I'm currently mid write up for my thesis so no extended day trips allowed at the moment. Maybe in a months time if there's demand... Need 20 for the numbers to work if I remember correctly.
Heads up to @youramericanlover as well. -

Hope it's going well fella :) I'll keep an eye out for updates then, and it sounds like youll have no trouble finding 20

Well after the clocks change would be good, that might make getting permission difficult but that would be my choice...

ok, things are looking promising as I've been offered a part time job at the observatory, so I will have a professional connection until Easter. So I'll ask if they have room for a further bunch of cyclists...
